"Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole"

Real dog, real adventure:
"My Dog Won't Sit Still, Ever!"
You’ve got a dog that thinks "sit" is just a suggestion and that "stay" is for suckers. I get it. They’re a bundle of energy, and getting them to pose for even a split second feels like trying to take a selfie with a tornado. But here’s the thing: the best dog photos aren’t about perfect poses—they’re about capturing the chaos and spirit that makes your pup, well, them! As a photographer who thrives on adventure (and, let’s be honest, has been outsmarted by a dog more than once), I know how to turn your dog’s wild side into unforgettable photos. We'll embrace the zoomies, the derpy faces, and those priceless moments when they stop just long enough to look like they planned it all along.
"What if My Dog Doesn’t Cooperate With a Stranger?"
Look, I get it. Your dog doesn’t trust just anyone. (Honestly, same.) The thought of handing them over to some random person with a camera might be giving you serious side-eye vibes. Here’s where the magic happens, though: as a dog lover first and photographer second, I’m all about building trust. Before we even think about pulling out the camera, I spend time letting your dog get to know me—treats, belly rubs, and all. We’ll take it slow, no pressure, so by the time we’re snapping photos, your dog is more interested in having fun than wondering who the heck this person is. The result? Photos that feel like they're coming from a friend, not a stranger.
"I Want Stunning Photos... But I’m Not Into ‘Photo Shoots’"
We’ve all seen those stiff, posed dog portraits where Fido looks like he’s auditioning for a stock photo gig. You? You want something real. Something that screams you and your dog—muddy paws, windblown fur, and all. You want memories from your adventures, not memories of a staged photo shoot. That’s where I come in. Forget the studio. We’re heading outdoors, chasing sunsets, splashing in streams, and climbing rocks. I’ll guide the whole process so you don’t have to feel like you're in a magazine spread, but still end up with shots that’ll have everyone asking, “Who took that amazing photo?!”

"Initially Ella’s knack for capturing dogs’ personalities in her work got me interested in working with her, but I got hooked after our first video consultation, which she offered for free as a part of our session package. I learned about her passion and expertise regarding working with reactive dogs, which relieved my worries about bringing my two large reactive dogs for a photo shoot. Ella’s knowledge, preparation, tenderness, and love for dogs resulted in a successful, memorable, and FUN photo shoot for my reactive pups! We ended up getting a large variety of photos, even with my dogs spending most of the time wanting to be at her hip. She even offered an additional video conference so we could discuss the best photos to pick for our session’s gallery. She put my opinions first, but always offered her insight from a photography perspective. We are big fans of Ella and look forward to our next session!"
